A person was treated at the scene after an intentionally set fire outside an apartment in Tacoma early Sunday. Tacoma Fire Department crews responded to calls for an apartment fire at 1:12 a.m. at 1200 S. 11th St., according to Tacoma Fire. Firefighters found a large garbage pile burning outside the front door of an apartment. The fire burned the exterior of the building and smoke filled the unit, Tacoma Fire said. Crews pulled one resident out of the building and treated the person at the scene.
