Three people were able to escape a home after waking up to smoke Thursday morning. One person was treated on scene and transported to the hospital as a precaution. Two others escaped uninjured. The Ryegrass Coulee fire that caused the entire town of Vantage to be evacuated, and shut down I-90 Tuesday morning is now completely contained. It burned 1,612 acres in total. More than 200 firefighters and resources from around the state were sent to help get the fire under control and protect homes in the area.
