Fire in Benton County serves as a warning about controlled burning

On Saturday afternoon, officials urged residents about responsible burning after a cover fire near a hill on I-82 on Gibbon Road and Yakitat Rd spread across 20 acres of land. According to the Benton County Sheriff's Office, deputies arrived to support firefighters from Benton County Fire District 2 in containing a cover fire.

Apartment fire injures two and destroys six units in Spokane Valley

VIDEO: 18-wheeler goes up in flames near gas station in Florida

Video showed an 18-wheeler go up in flames on a roadway in southwest Miami-Dade early Thursday. The truck's cab became fully engulfed in flames at the intersection of Krome Avenue and Southwest 200th Street around 3 a.m. The driver said he had been refueling the truck with diesel when he noticed it catch fire.
