Update: Body Of Missing Tennessee Firefighter Found

The body of missing Nashville firefighter Jesse Reed has been recovered in Humphreys County. Reed went missing in the Tennessee River on March 6 after his vehicle was submerged. The search for Reed lasted 12 days. He was found around 11:15 a.m. Saturday in a cove about a half mile from where his vehicle went into the water.

Person killed in fire near Prosser

Authorities say a fire destroyed an RV and killed a person inside early Sunday morning. The fire occurred on the 14000 block of North Griffin Road near Prosser. Officials say they originally got the 911 call at 1:45 AM. The caller reported the possibly-occupied RV was completely engulfed in flames.

San Juan County’s best prepare for the worst in emergency training

An explosion has just destroyed the courthouse in Friday Harbor and it’s your job to keep San Juan County running. At least, that’s what the municipality’s employees were told at a March 8 emergency training. “It’s not really about the courthouse burning down,” said Brendan Cowan, director of San Juan County Department of Emergency Management, who spearheaded the event.

Several displaced after house fire in Maple Valley

Several people are displaced after a house fire Saturday night in the 23200 block of Southeast 248th Street in Maple Valley. Three people managed to escape to safety, and no injuries were reported. Crews from Maple Valley Fire and the Puget Sound Regional Fire Authority responded just before 9 p.m.
