The new station sits in northeast Lehi, high on the hill overlooking the valley. The city built the station to help the Lehi Fire Department maintain prompt response times for the city’s rapidly growing population, especially in its northeast quadrant. Construction of the station began in October 2016. According to Lehi Fire Chief Jeremy Craft, on the morning of New Year’s Eve, the station will start taking calls.
