VIDEO: Kennewick fire officials said a cooking fire caused damage to at least three apartments at a complex Tuesday night. It happened at the Copper Ridge Apartments on the 5500 block of West Hildebrand Boulevard. The fire started just after 5 p.m. According to Deputy Fire Chief Michael Heffner, the tenant of the apartment on the third floor of the B building was cooking on the stove.

Two firefighters were injured while battling flames that engulfed a yacht club that has been a local landmark in Marina del Rey for decades. The fire was reported around 11:30 p.m. Monday at the California Yacht Club on Admiralty Way, according to the Los Angeles County Fire Department.
