Alexis Fire Equipment Company Expands and Launches New Brand Identity and Web Sites

ALEXIS, ILAlexis Equipment Co., a custom-built fire apparatus manufacturer located in Illinois, recently launched a new corporate brand strategy, Web site and online merchandise store. The new logo as well as its new tagline “Driven To Serve” can be found on the company’s revamped Web sites, which have been redesigned to provide a more user-friendly experience across all platforms. The Web sites offer improved navigation and functionality throughout, allowing customers to access detailed apparatus information with the option to share information across all major social networking sites.

“This is an exciting time for Alexis Fire Equipment as we launch our new logo identity and corporate brand strategy this year,” said Jeff Morris, Alexis Fire Equipment president. “Our company has experienced tremendous growth over the last few years and it was the right time for an updated look, message and more efficient updated website.”

The company headquarters in Alexis, Illinois, has expanded its facility operations in various departments. The Refurb & Collision Center has been relocated to a larger floor space, has quadrupled the number of bays from one to four, and added a four-point body-vehicle lift system for more efficient undercarriage work and body remounting. A Final Inspection Center has also been added to the company’s facility with an additional 5,400-square-foot building as well as a 9,000-square-foot building used exclusively for electrical, dress and finish departments.

Along with substantial facility expansions and a new brand identity, the updated AlexisFire.com Web site includes extensive product information to help customers gain knowledge about Alexis Fire Equipment’s custom fire apparatus product line. Created with the user experience firmly in mind, the Web site has been designed using the latest technology so the site is compatible with today’s browsers and mobile devices.

New features of AlexisFire.com include a comparison option which allows visitors to view and compare delivered Alexis apparatus that have been built for customers as well as search a database of the most currently built apparatus. Visitors can stay informed with the latest news of the company and sign up for the newsletter, The Agenda, as well as the E-Blast program. Alexis News features the latest company announcements, product innovations, and event schedule. Users can also easily request information about products, request service appointments, or sign up for mobile pump testing.

Customers will also be able to access the new AlexisFireStore.com through the new Web site and shop 24/7. Exact cause of fatal Honolulu high-rise fire remains mystery

Honolulu investigators can't determine the cause of a deadly high-rise apartment building fire that resulted in more than $107 million in damage, fire officials said. "The HFD fire investigators have completed an extensive and scientifically based investigation in full collaboration with other agencies and have classified the fire cause as undetermined," Fire Chief Manuel Neves said at a news conference Monday.
