VIDEO - The Mustang Fire Department is receiving a lot of praise online after video of one of their fire safety performances for a local elementary school went viral.
The Mustang Fire Department has become known for their entertaining and memorable skits they do to help kids remember tips for fire prevention.

I first met Alan Brunacini in the 1980s, when he was teaching one day of a weeklong leadership program I was attending in Massachusetts. We had lunch together that day and like most of the thousands of people who knew him, I was charmed by the man and his stories, his humor and his insights.
Over the years, our paths crossed again many times, as presenters at conferences, while attending events, and once when I was privileged to be invited to participate in his annual Baggers meeting in Phoenix.

A house fire erupted in Colfax but when fire crews arrived, they were shocked to see the owner of the house was a well-known first responder for the city.
A charred frame is what’s left of most of former Colfax police chief Bill Hickman’s home.
He said he was in the basement when he smelled smoke and immediately called 911.

The Kitsap County Coroner says four victims who perished in a house fire over the weekend from smoke inhalation.
38-year-old Merle Simpson, his two kids, 2-year-old Madison and 1-year-old Collin, along with Simpson's 63-year-old mother, Vili Simpson, died in the early morning fire.
Only Merle's father, Donald Simpson, escaped the fire.

One person was killed and two paramedics were injured after an ambulance collided with a car and went off a bridge into waist-deep water of a creek below.
State police spokesman Lt. David Kaiser tells MLive.com the Mobile Medical Response ambulance was leaving a call early Monday when it apparently ran a stop sign in Saginaw County. He says two emergency workers were in the ambulance and the car was driven by a 21-year-old man.
