A large fire broke out at a Somali grocery store in Tukwila on Friday morning and escalated to a second alarm, meaning about 40 firefighters were on the scene, before it was extinguished. A fire at a south King County senior living facility Wednesday morning displaced 12 people. The fire broke out at Solstice Senior Living at Renton, located on Monroe Avenue Northeast, shortly before 2 a.m. Puget Sound Fire said the cause of the burn was determined to be electrical.
