A part of McMurray Street in Richland is shut down after a fire broke out at a Richland apartment complex Friday night. The call for help came in around 5:45 p.m. at the El Dorado townhomes on the 700 block of McMurray Street. Fire crews from Richland Fire and Emergency Services and the Kennewick Fire Department arrived on scene within a couple of minutes. Richland Police and utility trucks also arrived on scene to help.
Smoke can be seen coming from the building and firefighters are using a ladder truck to inspect the roof of one of the buildings. Firefighters are also on the ground, accessing the homes and a drone is also in the air flying above. At this time, it is unknown if anyone is hurt.
