Walla Walla: Union Pacific railroad worker killed by train

A male Union Pacific railroad worker was killed by a train on Tuesday morning. John P. Schneider, 54, of Spokane Valley, was “killed instantly, in a railroad accident” in Wallula, according to Walla Walla County Coroner Richard Greenwood. Sheriff: 3 Kitsap Co. homicide victims ID'd; 4th victim in truck was killed

Officials have identified three homicide victims found inside a burning home Friday night near Seabeck in Kitsap County. In addition, the Kitsap County Sheriff's Office says that a fourth victim found inside a burned-out pickup truck in Mason County also died of "homicidal violence." The identity of that victim has not been released.

Spokane fire engine preserved for historical significance but there’s no place to exhibit it
