The West County EMS and Fire Protection District is mourning the loss of one of their own. Sean McMullin was found unresponsive at Station 2, located at 13790 Manchester Road, around 12:50 p.m. Saturday. Mayor Andrew J. Ginther has approved adding 25 fire recruits to the Columbus Fire Division by December to fill positions as more firefighters retire than had been expected.
