Six middle school students were injured - two of them seriously - when a pickup driver with a suspended license and a history of seizures lost control and slammed into a school bus stop Thursday morning in Maple Valley, officials said. A car prowl threw a curve ball into opening ceremonies at the Mariners game on Wednesday. While the game ended with an amazing walk-off homerun for the Seattle Mariners, the start was a complete disaster for a group of local firefighters. The Kitsap County Local 2819 Honor Guard was invited to perform during the national anthem.
