Two adults and a small child are dead after a house fire about two miles west of Wapato early this morning. Joe Boehme, Jr. and Viola Stahi, both believed to be in their mid-20s, died at the scene. A two-year-old child, Madison Stahi Boehme, was pronounced dead shortly after being taken to a local hospital, according to information supplied by Yakima Fire District No.
