A family must start from the ground up after losing their possessions during a house fire. Piles of burnt wood is what's left after a home caught fire Saturday night on Naches Avenue. The inside is almost completely dark from soot and ashes that stretches from the living room to the bathroom. The family able to escape the flames after the children cried for help.

SVI Trucks is excited to announce that Rafe Bridges has joined the SVI team as our Eastern Regional Sales Manager based in Fort Collins (CO).

Rafe has been working in emergency vehicles sales since 2010 and comes to us from FESCO Emergency Sales located in Baltimore, Maryland.

Rafe is an alumnus of Towson University, class of 2006, where he graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Sports Management and minor in business. He was a Five Year Letter Winner on the Towson University Baseball Team.

No injuries were reported and one woman is in custody after several incidents involving fires at businesses in East Aberdeen. Battalion Chief Damon Lillybridge tells us that the Aberdeen Fire Department responded to three different fire locations involving the Aberdeen Hotel, Walmart, and Goodwill. It began around 5:30 Thursday evening, firefighters were called to a small fire in room 208 of the Aberdeen Hotel in the 700 block of Heron Street.

The vehicle is fully outfitted with a powerful 4,000-LPM pump, an integrated foam system, a high-pressure hose reel, and a full complement of rescue tools and equipment.

The Oshkosh XP fire apparatus is built on a corrosion resistant 4638 mm aluminum body with full-height compartments on both the driver and passenger sides.  Storage space is ample and well designed, and compartments are organized to accommodate customer-specific requirements.
