Big investment brings big reward for Clallam 2 Fire-Rescue

VIDEO - On it's first night in service, firefighters in Port Angeles are crediting a new tool with saving a life. It's a video laryngoscope that was a big investment for the small fire department in Clallam County. Chief Sam Phillips runs Fire District Two in Clallam County. "We have 40 volunteers and three career firefighters/paramedics," said Phillips.

Richland firefighter gives more than 200 coats to kids in need

Richland firefighter Travis Leonard hosted Operation Warm Tuesday afternoon, a national program that provides coats to children in need. He bought 222 coats for kids at Jason Lee and Jefferson elementary schools with money donated by local businesses. The coats were brand new and made by Goodwill Industries.
