Arson at W. Seattle Islamic center rattles local Muslims

An early morning fire intentionally set at an East African community center in West Seattle's High Point Neighborhood has raised a disturbing question. Snohomish County Fire District 1 achieving its goals, according to annual report

In its annual review of fire and emergency medical services, Snohomish County Fire District No. 1 reported that it met the 2014 objective for firefighters to arrive within eight minutes on 90.25 percent of emergency calls. The response time is calculated from the time the SNOCOM dispatch center receives a 911 call, which is a much higher standard than when the unit leaves the station.
