Everett residents nervous about possible fire department cuts

An efficiency report requested by members of the Everett City Council is raising concerns among residents, even though council members say they are months away from even considering specific recommendations. The report was conducted by the Missouri consulting firm of Finch and Associates and cost the city more than $60,000.

Lynnwood studying alternate ways to provide fire services with expected growth in the City

What does the future hold for the Lynnwood Fire Department? The answer to that question won’t be decided for a long time but the Lynnwood City Council is working on trying to find an answer. Earlier this month, the City Council hosted a community meeting on Alternative Fire Service Delivery Options at the Lynnwood Senior Center.
