Fire investigators have determined that an early morning fire Friday at a Planned Parenthood clinic was arson.
The fire started at around 3:30 a.m. along SE King Drive and caused extensive damage. Police said fire alarms and burglar alarms were tripped at the same time.
Tanya Riordan with Planned Parenthood of Greater Washington and North Idaho called the fire and damage "tragic.

Arson investigators in Pullman are trying to figure out how a fire started at Planned Parenthood early Friday morning.
Pullman Police say they received reports of a burglary alarm that was tripped and when they showed up the building was on fire. Firefighters were able to first attack the fire through a broken window and quickly extinguished the flames, however police say the office and the attic of the building were burned.

Weather moderated fire behavior for North Star and Tunk Block Fires early this week but there is still a lot of work to be done.
With more than 360,000 acres of fire, officials calculate that there are more than 370 miles of perimeter between the two fires. North Star Fire has about 195 miles and Tunk Fire has 178 miles excluding the spots and perimeters around unburned islands.
