New helmet cameras give Iowa first responders a new look inside the fire fight

VIDEO: The Fort Dodge Fire Department is using a new tool to fight fires. The department's new fire cameras are small, lightweight cameras that are mounted to their helmets. They capture footage that most people have never seen before, and that footage could help make firefighting safer in Fort Dodge.

Marysville RV fire kills woman, severely burns man

VIDEO: Flames burned through an RV on Sunday night, killing a woman and sending a man to the hospital. Firefighters were called to the RV off 41st Avenue Northeast shortly after 8:30 p.m. Marysville fire crews said they arrived to find the RV engulfed in flames. They found a man in his 50s who sustained severe burns to his arms and hands.

Right lane reopened on westbound I-90 near Ellensburg after semi fire

PHOTOS: The right lane on westbound I-90 is closed near Ellensburg due to a semi-truck fire. The closure is at milepost 110, just east of Ellensburg. Snoqualmie Pass posted on their Twitter around 8:19 a.m. photos of the fire.

Fire destroys shed in Walla Walla

Walla Walla Fire crews were dispatched to the 300th block of Woodland Ave after an abandoned shed caught on fire. Deputy Fire Chief John Knowles with Walla Walla Fire District #4, tells us when crews from College Place Fire Department and Walla Walla Fire Department arrived, the shed was destroyed.
