VIDEO: Jeremy Renner to Build Fire Station in Lake Tahoe

Actor Jeremy Renner is building a fire station for the community in Lake Tahoe, near the CA-NV border, he recently said on The Kelly Clarkson Show.

The Hurt Locker star owns a house in the town and decided to avenge the devastating wildfires with the station, he told the former American Idol winner.

“It is a hot zone for fires, so we’re creating [the station] to protect the community,” he says. “Tahoe got struck pretty hard. It’s lovely to give back to the community, and I love to do it.”

The FDNY recently shared a slew of throwback photos from 41 years ago.

“Today’s FDNY #tbt photo is from this day in 1980 –a 3-alarm fire at 593 Oak Terrace in the Bronx,” the department writes on social media.

Twice as Nice: Hialeah (FL) Fire Rescue Holds Pair of Ceremonies

Hialeah (FL) Fire Rescue recently held a pair of ceremonies: One for the opening of its Station 9 and a push-in ceremony for its Engine 5.

Engine 5 is a 2021 Pierce Saber that has a 700-gallon tank, holds 20 gallons of foam, a 1,250-gpm pump, and a Cummins L9 engine.

Station 9 is located at 3620 West 104 St.

Zoneton (KY) Fire Department Reveals Santa Truck 2021

Wednesday evening, for the 24th consecutive year, the Zoneton (KY) Fire Department debuted its Santa Truck.

The department spent weeks dooting up the truck with holiday lights and decorations.
