Brentwood (TN) Fire Station Design Work Approved

Brentwood officials unanimously approved the final design and construction services for a new fire station, reports Williamson Herald.

Brentwood’s new fire station is expected to cost approximately $4.5 million and will be built on city land. Construction is set to start in fiscal year 2022.

Brentwood has seen a population increase of 24.5% in the past 10 years and a 48.83% increase in emergency call responses. Commissioners voted down a similar fire station proposal in 2017.

Preliminary plans at the time called for a fire station that would house one response unit and one crew and an ambulance crew in the 11,000-square-foot, two-story building.
