Lugoff Fire-Rescue Dedicates New Trucks

Lugoff Fire-Rescue (LF-R) dedicated two new fire trucks into service March 18 at its headquarters with board members, fire department members and elected officials on hand. Both trucks were designed beginning in 2015, built by Pierce Manufacturing in 2016 in Appleton, Wis., and delivered in December of 2016.

Highland Park (MI) Needs Public's Help after Fire Truck Burns in Blaze

A fire truck destroyed by fire. It started in the engine and quickly consumed the rig after the crew returned from a run in Highland Park earlier this month. The city has three fire trucks to cover city limits that stretch less than 3 square miles.

Ambulance Company Gets New Equipment

Some new equipment is about to make first responders' jobs a little easier.

The new ramps will also keep both EMS workers and patients safer. They have reflective lights and are smoother when pulling patients in and out of the ambulance.

Randolph County EMS Opens Station 3 Facility in Harman

HARMAN - In an effort to increase the level of service to the public, the Randolph County Emergency Squad has expanded the agency by opening a new facility in Harman. Director of EMS Kurt Gainer said he believes the people in Harman and surrounding areas will find that the Randolph County Public Safety Building Cheat District Station benefits their communities.
