A former firefighter mentioned how this new imaging technique helped him extinguish prostate cancer before it spread.

A suburban police detective climbs the steps of the main Cook County criminal courthouse in hopes of ending a 40-year-old mystery.
The Tylenol murders, as they are commonly known, have been his investigation since he assumed responsibility for the cold case more than 15 years ago.
Now, he and several other law enforcement officials believe they have solved the killings.

VIDEO: On Wednesday, over a hundred firefighters from throughout central Pa. gathered at Fort Indiantown Gap for emergency training, each one learning about the different military helicopters that fly from the base.
“They’re going through four stations, which include orientation to the CH-47 Shanook, the UH-60 Blackhawk, and UH-72 Lakota," said Aviation Safety Officer Danielle Watkins.

Assaults, threats and slurs are just some of the problems firefighters are facing when they show up to help on the streets around the city.
The number of reported incidents have shot way up this year and it's got first responders pleading for solutions from city leaders.
Documents obtained by KOMO News detailed the range of crimes and other offenses directed at fire crews while on the job.
