Person slightly hurt in kitchen apartment fire in North Spokane

Someone was slightly hurt in a kitchen fire in north Spokane Wednesday. The fire happened around 1:00 p.m. on N. Howard St. near N. Division. Firefighters were able to quickly extinguish the fire. It's not known if a person was burned, suffered slight smoke inhalation or a secondary injury, but they were expected to recover.

VIDEO: Multiple fire departments respond to Ohio car wash fire

PHOTOS: Multiple fire departments were called to a fire at a car wash early Tuesday morning. According to Bedford Heights police, crews were called out to the business, called The Car Wash, in the 5100 block of Northfield Rd. around 7:30 a.m. At this time, there are no reports of injuries.

Changing Pennsylvania Gaming law would help fire departments
