Home damaged in Walla Walla fire caused by fireworks

Numerous fire agencies responded to a residential fire on 2002 Glenn Erin Drive shortly after 11 p.m. on July 4 after callers told dispatch a car and garage were on fire, and the fire was spreading to the house. Initially, Walla Walla Fire Station 1 and 2 were dispatched. They were joined by Walla Walla County Fire District 4 and the College Place Fire Department.

Small fire extinguished after prompting evacuation notice for climbing area in Grant County

The Grant County Sheriff’s Office briefly issued a Level 3 evacuation notice for people in and around the Frenchman Coulee climbing area as firefighters responded to a nearby wildfire Tuesday evening. Harlingen (TX) Welcomes New Pierce Pumper with Push-In Ceremony

HARLINGEN, Texas The City of Harlingen Fire Department has added a brand new 2022 Pierce Pumper to its fleet. A short ceremony was held Thursday to unveil the new truck and ceremoniously push it into the bay.

This pumper truck holds 750 gallons of water and includes a unique warning device that is the first of its kind in the Rio Grande Valley. The round, three-light siren affixed to the front center of the truck is an extra-loud and extra-bright warning, so that vehicles can see it from longer distances and move out of the way.

Newton County (GA) Opens $2.6M Fire Station 4

Newton County officials recently opened Fire Station 4.

Located at 1200 County Road 213, Station 4 aims to enhance coverage in Districts 1 and 5 and provide support throughout the county.

Sunbelt Builders was awarded the $2.6 million contract to build the three-bay station, reports rockdalenewtoncitizen.com, which includes around 8,450 square feet.

Firefighters Knock Down Major Emergency Blaze in California Warehouse

VIDEO: Firefighters tonight battled a major emergency blaze in a large, vacant warehouse in Woodland Hills, preventing it from spreading to nearby structures and putting out the bulk of the flames in just over one hour. The fire was reported at 9:10 p.m. at 6000 N. De Soto Ave., said the Los Angeles Fire Department's Margaret Stewart.
