Goshen Township Administrator Steve Pegram held a press conference Thursday after a tornado touched down Wednesday, damaging multiple buildings and knocking down trees.
On Wednesday, Pegram declared a state of emergency for Goshen Township.
A preliminary National Weather Service survey Thursday declared the tornado was an EF2 tornado.

Members of the Perham Fire Department take their commitment to life-saving quite seriously — so much so that they began a fitness initiative in early 2022 to improve their overall health. As a part of this initiative, five firefighters will be competing in the Firefighter Challenge in Bismarck, N.D. on July 15 and 16.

PHOTOS: An Investigator with Everett Fire was on scene where multiple attached garages were damaged or destroyed by fire late Wednesday morning. Fire crews were called just before 11:30 AM to the Woodbrook Apartments near 7th SE and 112th SE in the Silver Lake neighborhood.
As the first Engine approached the scene, they saw a heavy column of smoke and upgraded the call to a confirmed commercial fire which brought additional mutual aid from South County Fire and Snohomish Fire and Rescue.

VIDEO: A large fire at a homeless encampment in south Seattle burned overnight near I-5 and I-90. Flames broke out at 10th Ave South and South Dearborn Street around 1:30 a.m. Thursday.
KOMO News learned propane tanks may have exploded at the site. There is no word on injuries at this time.

A major earthquake on the Seattle fault could lead to massive waves that would hit Seattle in a matter of minutes.
That finding is part of a new study released Thursday by the State Department of Natural Resources.
According to the study, tsunami waves from a major quake would reach the eastern shorelines of Bainbridge Island, Elliott Bay, and Alki Point in less than 3 minutes.
