Woman Steals TX Battalion Chief’s Personal Truck from Station

Battalion Chief Justin Pfitzner parked his 2500 Dodge Ram in front of Harris County ESD No. 48 Station 1 Friday when he arrived for work. When he attempted to leave the next morning he noticed it was gone, reports katymagazineonline.com.

Pfitzner contacted Sheriff’s officials and filed a report, then reviewed station footage and saw a woman enter his truck and leave prior to midnight. It’s unclear if the woman involved in the crash is the same woman who stole the truck.

It was found the next day, but not before it was involved in a chase with the Stafford Police Department, crashed, and totaled, the report says. The chase ended in Spring when the driver crashed and totaled Pfitzner’s truck.

Pfitzner recovered his wedding ring, which he takes off at work, his college ring, toolbox, and additional clothes. However, the thief did get away with some money that was in the truck.
