Crews from the Seattle Fire Department are investigating the cause of a fire that damaged a house in North Seattle early Monday morning. According to social media posts from the Seattle Fire Department, firefighters responding to a report of a fire in the 8200 block of Roosevelt Way Northeast, near the Maple Leaf Reservoir, found a fire in the back of the house.

A US Army Apache helicopter crashed in rural Thurston County Monday night. According to information provided by officials with the US Army 7th Infantry Division, a helicopter and crew assigned to the 16th Combat Aviation Brigade at Joint Base Lewis-McChord had an “aviation mishap” during a routine training exercise in a military training area in Thurston County.
