Crews were at the scene of an apartment fire Tuesday afternoon in Federal Way. The fire happened at an apartment complex in the 2400 block of South 273rd Place. Fire officials said multiple people were rescued. Officials said two people were rescued off a balcony and they were not injured. One person was rescued from a second story window.

The Spokane police have tracked down a real-life Grinch who stole 50 Christmas trees from River Ridge Hardware early last Friday. As a way to say thank you, the hardware store is donating 50 Christmas trees to any first responder, according to a post on the store's Facebook page. Store owners also thanked their security team, customers who sent in tips and a local Facebook group that helps track down thieves.

An oversized, multicolored quilt, deemed the “Quilt of the Angels,” was draped over the altar at the Church of the Holy Family in Little Italy for Sunday’s 5 p.m. Mass. In an exclusive interview with ABC10 News, a firefighter shared his heroic story of helping battle the massive fire that erupted aboard the USS Bonhomme Richard this past July. “It was a crazy situation,” said Deputy Fire Chief Robert Sepulveda with Navy Region Southwest Fire Emergency Services. “We [had] about 400-plus firefighters on-scene at the time,” he stated and added, “I was on the front lines with the firefighters and was directing the fire attack on the forward side of the ship at that time.
