For the first time in over two months, King County recorded no new deaths from COVID-19 in its daily update. Public health officials said 86 new cases of coronavirus were confirmed over the past 24 hours in King County - but not a single death. A mother, her daughter and their three pets escaped injury Wednesday afternoon when a fire of unknown origin severely damaged a home in the 800 block of Mayberry Street. Firecrackers exploded during the blaze, making Forks-area Fire District 1 Chief Bill Paul first suspect that ammunition was going off.
