VIDEO: Two 13-year-olds have been arrested and booked on suspicion of arson and manslaughter charges in a deadly fire on Tuesday that claimed the lives of two firefighters and destroyed the Porterville Library.
Tuesday’s blaze started shortly after 4 p.m.
The man killed has been identified as Fire Capt.

The Pasco Fire Department is adding two new fire stations to the city in hopes to improve response times and firefighter safety.
The new addition would be Pasco Fire Department's first new in nearly 20 years.
Chief Bob Gear said with how much the City of Pasco has grown over the years the need for a new one is now.

The Sheriff’s Office is investigating after hay bales bearing the words “TRUMP 2020” were reportedly set on fire.
Deputies responded to a report of an incident involving arson near the intersection of Grandview and Enterprise Roads at about 1:30 am Sunday, February 16.
Fire District personnel ultimately extinguished the fire that destroyed eleven bales of hay that were covered in white plastic and painted to say “TRUMP 2020.

A woman has pleaded guilty in connection to a string of arson fires last year in the Soap Lake area.
Alexandra Gray, a 22-year-old Ephrata resident, pleaded guilty Tuesday morning to three counts of second-degree reckless burning. Gray was initially charged with two counts of second-degree arson and two counts of second-degree burglary but the charges were amended as part of a plea agreement.

Vancouver Fire Chief Joe Molina is retiring from his post after steering the department through a tumultuous decade, one that saw gutting Recession-era cutbacks, a slow recovery and major changes in how firefighters do their jobs.
Well, technically he’s retiring. He announced his retirement a year ago, and he won’t actually leave his post for another four months.
