PHOTOS: Firefighters transported one man to the hospital as they fought a fire that destroyed an Everett mobile home Thursday, January 25, 2024.
Firefighters were dispatched to the property in the 2000 block of Center Road just after 1:30 p.m. and arrived to find heavy fire conditions throughout the home.

A Thursday night fire did serious damage to Evergreen Memorial Garden Cemetery and Funeral Chapel in east Vancouver, though there were no injuries.
The crematorium caught fire about 8:40 p.m. According to the Vancouver Fire Department, firefighters arrived to the funeral home at 1101 N.E. 112th Ave.

An inferno that torched a New Jersey warehouse, spewing smoke seen for miles, is under control authorities say, though firefighters expect to be dousing hotspots throughout the day Thursday.
The fire on Nassau Street and Georges Road in North Brunswick erupted at an address linked to an old mattress factory around the time of Wednesday's evening rush.

Here's the bet: if the Ravens win, Joe's Kansas City will ship enough barbecue to feed the Baltimore City Fire Department. If the Chiefs win, Jimmy's Famous Seafood will send crab cakes to the Kansas City Fire Department.

VIDEO: When leaders at Sullivan East High School and Kingsport City Schools approached the Kingsport Fire Department to create a co-op program for students in its fire science classes, Assistant Fire Chief Terry Arnold said the department was interested right away.
