Seattle police say they have arrested a 17-year-old boy in connection with last month's arson at a Fred Meyer in the Lake City neighborhood. The teen was arrested Monday afternoon. Investigators said they believe the teen is the same person who allegedly set fires in the past few months inside a University District pharmacy, Green Lake grocery store and an office in SoDo.

Lewis County Fire District 6 has scheduled a live-fire training exercise for 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Dec. 7 in the 200 block of Fay Road west of Adna. The district is warning residents of the exercise — which will involve a fully involved house fire — and states that people in the area are likely to see large plumes of smoke and fire department vehicles in the area for most of the day.
