A woman was arrested Friday for setting a fire on her RV's trailer porch.
It happened on the 1400 block of South Date Street in East Kennewick. The Benton County Sheriff's Office says when firefighters arrived, they found the wooden front porch on fire and a woman inside who refused to get out.
35-year-old Terra Redmond eventually came out unharmed and the fire was put out.

A procession was held for a 23-year-old Walla Walla County firefighter who died in a car crash last month.
Ashton Farley was found unconscious with his car on its side in ditch along Harvey Shaw Road west of Prescott on Nov. 21. A passing driver saw the vehicle, pulled over and called police to report the crash at about 1:25 a.

A lit cigarette is to blame for a garage fire in Benton City.
Around 10:45 p.m, on Thursday, Benton County firefighters responded to a detached garage fire near 11th and Della Street.
They later found out that the fire was sparked by a renter who was smoking while working in the shop.
The Benton County Sheriff's Office explained that he had apparently put the cigarette down and forgot about it.

Two hundred fire fighters have now reportedly died from illnesses related to the September 11th attacks, according to a charitable organization that assists 9/11 first responders with medical needs not covered by insurance.
The Ray Pfeifer Foundation confirmed on Twitter Wednesday that two more New York City fire fighters have died due to "9/11 illness," marking the 199th, and 200th FDNY deaths related to the World Trade Center attacks.

After voters rejected a city charter amendment Nov. 5 that would have allowed 2 additional mills for public safety, the council is considering options as funds in the annual public safety budget are exhausted halfway into the second quarter of the fiscal year.
The rising number of medical runs the Davison-Richfield Fire Department is being dispatched for is considered to blame for the city’s public safety budget being $80,000 in the red last year.
