VIDEO: Burning incense ignites house fire in New York, officials say

Fire officials battled a massive house fire in Roosevelt Wednesday morning. Authorities say flames broke out at around 4 a.m. on Catlin Avenue. Video shows fire officials battling the large flames that tore through the house. Officials determined that burning incense ignited a mattress in the basement of the home.

Thefts targeting first responders have become 'cost of doing business' in Seattle

VIDEO: A Seattle Fire Department crew was inside the Ballard Fred Meyer when a security guard rushed to warn them about people rummaging through their fire truck in the parking lot. The firefighters noted the guard was "shaking" as he told them he had just been chased by a group of men after yelling at them in an attempt to interrupt the theft.

Follow-up: Cause of deadly Millwood fire was improper disposal of cigarettes

VIDEO/PHOTOS: The cause of the deadly fire in Millwood that killed two children and two dogs was due to an improper disposal of cigarettes, according to the Spokane Valley Fire Department. The fire department says the cigarette was disposed of in combustible materials outside the house. Fire crews returned to the home Tuesday morning to continue its investigation of the fire.
