It's never too early to plan for a $1 million investment. That's the thinking of the Gaffney Fire Committee on Monday when its members discussed the purchase of a new aerial fire truck. Gaffney Administrator James Taylor said the city's current aerial truck is nearing 20 years old and needs to be replaced.
