Ambulance Company Reacts to the Video of Person Hanging Onto the Back of an Ambulance

One person appearing to be catching a wild and dangerous ride on the back of an American Medical Response Ambulance (AMR) was caught on camera. This all happened on eastbound I-90 near Altamont and Freya. “Person jumped onto the back of the ambulance and now refusing to get off,” a dispatcher said. A person was seen clinging to the back of an AMR ambulance on I-90, while it’s still dark outside.

“They said they never saw anyone on the back,” the dispatcher said. “They were just calling as precautionary.” During this blink-and-you’ll-miss-it highway spectacle… A spokesperson from AMR said no patient was inside the vehicle at the time. They say if a patient had been inside, they would have continued care while pulling over.
