Kent driver crashed pickup twice same night as quadruple fatality

A 22-year-old Kent man reportedly crashed his pickup twice earlier in the night prior to the wreck that killed his four passengers. King County prosecutors charged Jesse Tenorio with four counts of vehicular homicide for the Oct. 7 crash along eastbound State Route 518 in Tukwila near the Interstate 405 interchange.

Family involved fatal motorhome crash on I-90 reunited with Kittitas County first responders

A little over a month after two members of the Edelbrock family died in a motorhome crash on Interstate 90, the family was reunited with emergency responders on scene that day. First responders with Kittitas County Fire District 7 and Upper Kittitas County Medic One met with the Edelbrock family this week at the request of the family to meet the responders who had transported family members in the Sept.

Swearingen is the new Valley Regional Fire Authority Board fire chief and administrator

The Valley Regional Fire Authority Board of Governance did not have to look far to find its next chief executive. The board on Wednesday appointed Brent Swearingen, deputy chief of operations, to serve as fire chief and administrator of the VRFA, effective Jan. 1. “Chief Swearingen brings 34 years of experience in the fire service, significant academic achievements and industry credentials,” said Nancy Backus, Auburn mayor and VRFA board chair.

GRAND RAPIDS/WYOMING, MI—HME Ahrens-Fox has announced that the Wildland Revolution tour featuring its new Ahrens-Fox WUI™ will be making a stop at Facebook Headquarters for its community event called Truck Yeah!

HME Ahrens-Fox California dealer Derotic Emergency Equipment was responsible for setting up the appearance. “Although this is not a conventional sales venue, we are honored to contribute to Facebook’s efforts to support local health services and veteran organizations,” said Todd Ernst, director of marketing and communication for HME Ahrens-Fox. Ernst will be joining the team from Derotic to help facilitate the setup and community engagement of the unique apparatus. Truck Yeah will take place on Saturday October 13 from 1-6pm PST.
