Wall-Mounted Ready Rack 18-Inch Compartments

Ready Rack® components are manufactured with a durable, heavy-duty zinc chromate finish and protected with a special clear-coat sealer. All units are supplied with two levels of open wire shelving. Full-length grid dividers separate individual sections between top and bottom shelf levels and provide a 4″ tall divider on the top shelf level. Grid dividers are also supplied for ends of the unit. Each individual section is supplied with two hanging apparel hooks, one snap on plastic name plate, and a hanging pole that runs the length of the unit.

FDNY adds 18 names to memorial wall for deaths related to 9/11 illnesses

The FDNY added 18 names to its FDNY World Trade Center Memorial Wall on Thursday, honoring firefighters who died from September 11th-related illnesses. The wall now includes the names of 177 individuals. The FDNY expects the number of deaths from 9/11-related illnesses to surpass the number of deaths from the attack itself.

Disastrous fire season has Cal Fire running out of money

California’s firefighting agency is running out of money in the midst of a disastrous and deadly fire season and needs another $234 million to make it through the middle of next year, officials said Thursday. Ken Pimlott, director of the state Department of Forestry and Fire Protection, or Cal Fire, said in a letter to legislators that the agency is down to its last $11 million after spending $432 million in July and August alone.

South Carolina city denies discrimination allegations made by dyslexic firefighter in lawsuit

The Town of Surfside Beach denied allegations that fire officials discriminated against volunteer firefighter Christopher Gallagher after a captain and fire chief allegedly said, “We’re not hiring someone who can’t read.” Gallagher filed a lawsuit in June against the town alleging he did not receive a promotion to fire engineer due to having dyslexia, documents show.
