Fire officials say vehicle fire spread to building in Vancouver

Firefighters responded to a truck on fire in Vancouver, north of Camas, Wednesday morning. The fire was reported in the area of Northeast 68th Street at the base of Livingston Mountain at 5:17 a.m. Clark County Dispatch says there are no injuries reported. Fire officials on scene say the vehicle fire spread to a barn or shop.

Deer Park High School Serves as Practice Fire Camp

When a wildfire ignites and firefighters are called to put it out, they not only bring the equipment they need to battle the fire. They also bring a whole logistical system to take care of their personal needs. Sometimes on the big fires, that support system becomes quite an operation. Firefighters respond to fully involved house fire near Port Angeles

PHOTOS - Fire crews responded to a fully involved, two-story structure fire near the end of Lake Farm Road on Tuesday. All of the occupants had evacuated the house at 131 Pristine Lane, Clallam County Fire District No. 3 Chief Ben Andrews said. The house east of Port Angeles was fully involved in flames when crews arrived Tuesday afternoon, Andrews said.

Fire Burns Lewis County Garage, Vehicles

A detached garage was destroyed by a fire Tuesday afternoon on Teague Road outside Centralia, according to the Riverside Fire Authority. A number of vehicles and the contents of the garage, including tools, were completely destroyed. The fire was reported at about 2:30 p.m. Tuesday in the 300 block of Teague Road, Assistant Chief Rick Mack told The Chronicle.
