Utah fire crew gets personal in touching video

VIDEO - Firefighters at Unified Fire gave the public a look a point of view not often seen in a newly released inspiring video called ‘I Believe’. “I believe this is not just my job. It is what I am meant to do; it is what I was made for,” the narrator of the video says. “This is who I am but ‘firefighter does not define me’.

Fred Meyer president awards checks to responders of Richland store fire

After a fire in late January that caused millions of dollars in damages, the Richland Fred Meyer welcomed both the police and fire departments to thank them for their efforts in getting them back up and running. "Teamwork makes the dream work, and this is the best example I can think of is teamwork," said Joe Grieshaber, Fred Meyer's president.

Areas of Latah County left unprotected from fire

A log house 16 miles outside of Kendrick burned to the ground Monday night, leaving little more than ash where the home used to be. The fire was reported at about 9:30 p.m. to the Latah County Sheriff’s Office. Forty minutes later, deputies were first on the scene. It was nearly an hour before the first firefighters – belonging to the Evergreen Fire Department from Clearwater County – arrived.
