In April, the fire company sent the vehicle's four original wheels to Coker Tire in Chattanooga, Tenn., to be replaced.
"They said we'd have it in three months. Now we hope to have it back in early December," Klingler said.
The delay is being attributed to the lack of professionals who know how to work with these type of tires that require three layers of rubber on each wheel, he said.
"Only one or two people in the company do it," Klingler said. "They tell us our tires are in the process of being done."
