Though the Salisbury firefighter injured this weekend remains in good spirits after being struck by a city firetruck over the weekend, officials said he may be looking at additional surgeries on his road to recovery.
Fire Chief Richard Hoppes said the firefighter was already in his second surgery as the accident was being addressed during the city's Tuesday morning public safety briefing and could be looking at undergoing another procedure Wednesday. At this time, officials have not identified the firefighters involved in the accident.
