The Level 3 evacuation Levels have been reduced to Level 2 - Be Ready to Evacuate - as of Sunday night, according to Okanogan County Emergency Management. The fire, known as the Eagle Bluff Fire, has burned an estimated 10,000 acres as of 2:45 p.m. on Sunday afternoon. The Pacific Northwest has seen a significant increase in human-caused wildfires compared to the same time last year, according to the U.S. Forest Service. Officials say since June 1, there have already been 197 human-caused or undetermined caused fire starts that have impacted National Forest lands in Oregon and Washington.

VIDEO: According to the Washington State Fire Marshal's Office, the Wawawai Fire started by lightning has burned approximately 526 acres. As of Friday, July 28, the fire is 99% contained. The fire started on July 24 at 9:22 p.m. and has burned approximately 526 acres of range, grass and cropland. Level 1 evacuations that were previously in place for residents near Wawawai Road, from the Snake River to Wawawai-Pullman Road, have been lifted.

Oil and gas being drained from cars caused a large fire Thursday at a salvage yard in southwest Houston, firefighters said. This happened just before 11 a.m. The Houston Fire Department said oil and gas were being drained from at least four cars that were getting scrapped. During that process, a fire ignited that set off a chain reaction to smaller gas tanks, tires, batteries and other car parts.
