VIDEO: A Chicago Fire Department firetruck flipped on its side after colliding with a car on the South Side Tuesday night. The crash occurred at about 11:25 p.m. in the 300-block of East 79th Street, police said. Police said a vehicle ran a red light and struck the firetruck, causing the fire truck to flip on its side.

PHOTOS: More than a dozen homes have been evacuated in Rolling Hills Estates, California, after the ground shifted, causing extensive damage, city and Los Angeles County officials said. Twelve homes were red-tagged as of Monday night, the Los Angeles County Fire Department said on Twitter. Sixteen residents had been displaced by that point, the department said.

VIDEO/PHOTOS: Marysville fire rescued a man after his truck fell roughly 15 feet down an embankment at a transfer station Tuesday morning. Marysville fire said that the truck fell down the embankment at around 11 a.m. on 19th Ave NE. Officials worked for over 20 minutes to rescue the man, who they believed to be in his 60s.

VIDEO: A fire at a Kirkland apartment complex forced about 30 people from their homes. The fire at The Preserve at Forbes Creek complex, at 10707 111th Court, was reported at around 6 a.m. Tuesday. Nicole Valdez, who lives on the ground floor of the multi-story building, said she called 911 as soon as she realized something was wrong.
