At least 8 dead following 4 recent fires in one Ohio county

Multiple fires are under investigation in Dayton and Trotwood after a recent surge in serious fires after which multiple people were found dead. At least eight people were found dead following four fires in Montgomery County over the last eight days — including a fire in Dayton that officials said was one of the most tragic fires in the city’s history after five people were found dead.

The FDNY Drone Program: Pilots Talk Training, Challenges, and Changes

A look back at the tornado that ripped through downtown Atlanta 15 years ago

VIDEO: Many will remember the tornadoes that wreaked havoc in downtown Atlanta and across Georgia on March 14 and 15, 2008 – leaving many iconic Atlanta buildings damaged. There were at least a dozen tornadoes reported in Georgia that weekend, including one formed in the middle of the downtown’s tourism district that Friday night, a first in the city’s recorded history.

Video from a Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT) traffic camera shows large flames from a fire at a homeless encampment under an I-5 off-ramp in Seattle early Wednesday morning. The Seattle Department of Transportation (SDOT) first tweeted about the fire near South Spokane Street just before 1 a.

At Least 17 Lewis County Firefighters Take Part in Annual Firefighter Stairclimb in Seattle

At least 17 firefighters from four local fire departments traveled from Lewis County to Seattle on Sunday to climb the 69 floors of the Columbia Center as part of the 32nd Annual Firefighter Stairclimb. Participating firefighters climbed the Columbia Center in full structural turnout gear, while on air, to raise funds for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.
