A fire at the Alcoa Intalco Works aluminum smelter led to a major emergency response Thursday afternoon, Sept. 22. Crews from four fire districts, as well as Alcoa’s own fire crews, were called to the scene at 4050 Mountain View Road around 4 p.m. Light smoke was reported coming from a building at the facility.

Eight Russian firefighters were killed as they battled a blaze at a warehouse in eastern Moscow, authorities said Friday, in the latest deadly fire to hit the capital. VIDEO - At least one person was seriously injured after a fire truck was rear-ended in Cinnaminson, Burlington County. It happened around 8:20 p.m. Thursday at Broad Street and Union Landing Road. Chopper 6 captured the scene that showed a car slammed into the rear of a Riverton fire truck. Fire officials say they took the driver of the car to Cooper University Hospital for care.
