Forrest City police are looking for the shooter who shot up a fire substation that's set to open in August.
The shooting happened Monday, and today police announced a major reward in the case.
FOX13's Jeremy Pierre learned residents in Forrest City are tired of people who misuse guns and cause unnecessary damage.
Longtime Forrest City resident Henry Peacock is behind fixing the plumbing in the city's newest fire substation.
He said it's a mystery why anyone would want to damage the building by shooting it.
Peacock told FOX13 the shooting of the building comes as no surprise.
"It makes no sense," said Peacock. "It's too many guns."
Forrest City Police said they discovered the exterior of the substation shot multiple times Monday.
The Forrest City police and fire departments declined to comment on camera about the shooting.
