D123 Students Win Ride to School In Fire Truck

Laurin Jacobs, of Sward Elementary School, and Emmett Broderick, of Kolmar Elementary School, were each awarded a ride to school on fire truck. The youngsters won their rides with their winning entries in the Oak Lawn Fire Prevention contest.

D'Iberville donates another fire truck - this one to Diamondhead

D'IBERVILLE was able to buy two new fire pumpers this year, thanks in part to revenue generated by the new Scarlet Pearl Casino, and on Thursday Chief Gerald Smith donated one of the trucks being replaced to the Diamondhead Fire Department.

House fire sends plume of smoke over Woodinville

Firefighters faced challenging conditions Friday morning as they responded to a blaze that swept through a Woodinville home. The blaze, which was reported at about 7:25 a.m. at a home in the 16000 block of NE 175th Street, sent up a pillar of black smoke that could be seen for miles. All of the occupants of the home were able to escape.
